I recently stayed at the Kleinhuis Hotel in Hamburg for a week-long vacation. The location of the hotel was perfect, with a beautiful view of the park and canal. The hotel also had a swimming pool and sauna, although I didn't get a chance to use them. The staff were friendly and the room was quiet, allowing for a relaxing stay. In the town center, you can find plenty of shopping options. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options including eggs, ham, cheese, salmon, and more. The hotel also offered free parking and the WiFi was extremely reliable. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and I slept very well. The surroundings of the hotel were wonderful, with a small river and park nearby, giving a sense of being in the heart of nature while still being in the city.

comfortable hotel, we had a fine room with a pleasant view. the staff was very friendly and professional throughout the day. the location was quiet and exceptionally nice and next to a river and parks. easily reached kaminstube, located within a close distance from the venue, had lunch/dinner there. our new year was real good, will come back.
Though everything was lovely, some of the staff were extremely arrogant.

I had such a fantastic time staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location is simply breathtaking, as it is set on the banks of a river with lots of walking trails to explore. I enjoyed spending my mornings taking leisurely walks along the river, immersing myself in the serenity of nature. The hotel also offers a range of amenities and services that enhanced my comfort during the stay. The room had everything I needed, from a comfortable bed to a well-equipped bathroom. The staff were also incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that all my needs were met.
I highly recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. It truly is a hidden gem, offering a perfect blend of luxury and natural beauty.

I chose Kleinhuis Hotel Mellingburger Schleuse solely to visit the Alstertal Shopping Centre, and I was pleasantly surprised by the additional amenities offered. The complimentary wireless Internet access was convenient for staying connected, and the fireplace in the lobby created a cozy atmosphere. The tour/ticket assistance was also helpful in navigating the city. However, what I truly enjoyed was the restaurant's local dishes and extensive wine selection. Dining in the stimulating environment of the restaurant while savoring German cuisine and game specialities was a delightful experience. , being able to enjoy international drinks at the bar with friends was a great perk.
The bathroom at Kleinhuis Hotel Mellingburger Schleuse was somewhat inconveniently squeezed into a part of a sloping roof line. As a tall person, I struggled to shower properly or use the toilet without hitting my head on the tiled ceiling.

We had an amazing romantic escape in a beautiful rural setting, surrounded by stunning nature. We were able to enjoy long walks in the park and canoeing in the nearby canal. The room was delightful, with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower that made us feel refreshed and revitalized. we were delighted to take advantage of the sauna and swimming pool facilities.
We did notice that there were renovations going on and the food preparation was temporarily being done in a mobile unit. , the Wi-Fi signal in our room was not working correctly, which affected our ability to stay connected during our time there.

What a beautiful setting! the location was simply stunning, with the charming rural setting adding to the charm. the shower in the room was definitely one of the best features, with high water pressure and a comfortable flooring. the food we had in the restaurant was also a highlight, with impeccable service and delicious dishes that really highlighted the local cuisine.
The Wi-Fi was advertised as free, but we couldn't get a signal in our room, which was quite disappointing. the ongoing renovation made it feel a bit cramped in some areas as food was being prepared in a mobile unit.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
